Book Slump

This year, I've set a goal for myself to read 100 books. So far I've read 80 books, and that sounds pretty good, right? Well, I'm 5 books behind. I'm kind of in a book slump.

Have you guys ever been in a book slump? Every book I start I just have a hard time finishing right now for some reason. I personally believe it is because I have to read Julius Caesar for school and I'm trying so hard to finish it that I put all my time into that, plus the assignments for every Act of Julius Caesar. So now I'm a little upset that I'm behind and am hoping I can catch up soon.


This is why I joined the Read-a-thon and am hoping to finish my books ASAP! So, comment below and tell me how many books you've read so far this year! I'd love to hear, and am sure that they are awesome numbers!

    I had to read Julius Caesar my Sophomore year of High School! I can't wait for the readathon I am really behind on my goal too!!

    i am definitely hating my julius caesar book. i have 16 pages left before its done, and its taking my the longest time to just read 16 pages. i actually feel sorry for myself, but i have to read all types of literature if i want to be an author.
    i am so excited for the read-a-thon! it'll be sweet!
