Fate and Fury by Quinn Loftis
The last few days have been the darkest of Sally’s life. After experiencing the joy of finding her mate, she now suffers the pain of losing everything she holds dear. Both the Romanian and Serbian packs have been captured, ripping Sally’s soul mate away from her almost as soon as she had found him. Her best friend and the emotional glue that usually holds Sally together, Jacque Pierce, lies writhing in a restless coma, having been put down by Desdemona’s dark magic. Jennifer Adams, the unshakable one, has revealed to her friends and her mate that she is pregnant, but the Fates have marked her unborn baby for death. Though she rails against the darkness, deep inside Jen knows that Decebel’s baby must die as payment for her own life, and the knowledge is tearing her soul to pieces. Cypher, King of the Warlocks, has claimed Jacque’s mother as his mate and agreed to help Desdemona open a door that would release a horde of demons from beyond the Veil.
Though her world is crashing down around her, Sally holds out hope. The Great Luna is not sitting idly by. She has commanded the Fey council to call upon the packs—all of them. And though Cypher looks for a way to open the Veil for Desdemona, he struggles to protect Lilly and the wolves at the same time. Peri, the ever-courageous High Fae, and a contingent of the remaining females of the Romanian and Serbian packs, push on through the rough Carpathian Mountains. Though they are bound to the human realm, they continue to search for a way to cross over to the land of the Fey. Meanwhile, in reluctant obedience to the Great Luna, the Fey council sends representatives to the far corners of the globe, meeting with the pack Alphas. The Fey must convince the Alphas of every pack to lay aside their petty territorial squabbles and battles of dominance. If they refuse, both the humans and the supernatural races will fall at Mona’s feet.
Sally holds to a shred of hope. Though Vasile, Decebel, and their pack mates endure the torture of the In-Between, living their worst nightmares over and over, Sally holds. Though she knows that it is only a matter of time before their wolves take over, she holds. Sally knows that if the males die, then so too will their mates who have performed the Blood Rites, including her best friends Jen and Jacque. Yet she holds. If the males lose themselves to their wolves and turn feral, so too do their mates. Still she holds. Though Vasile, the strongest Alpha in their history to unite the wolves, is lost beyond the Veil, Sally holds. Though Decebel, the only other wolf besides Vaile strong enough to unite the packs, suffers beyond the Veil, Sally will hold. No one is left to unite their race, and defeat Desdemona. Yet Sally still holds. She holds out hope that the Great Luna will not abandon them, cannot abandon them. Throughout the centuries, the Great Luna has always provided a gypsy healer to the packs, especially in times of great need. Now Sally is that healer. Sally fears what role she has to play in the defeat of Desdemona, but she will play it. Though heaven and hell unite against her, she WILL play it.
For too long the supernatural races have lived in separation, warring amongst themselves, allowing trivial power plays and selfish disputes to keep them from uniting. That separation has made them weak. Now, being summoned as a collective force to the same land, will they come? Will they come in numbers greater than have been seen in centuries? Will they destroy each other and save Mona the trouble, or will they finally unite and fight as one?
Four Years Later by Monica Murphy
Owen's story
New Adult bestselling author Monica Murphy winds up her sensational series with this sexy story of two college kids with nothing in common but a bunch of baggage and a burning attraction.
Over. That about sums up everything in my life. Suspended from my college football team and forced to cut back my hours at The District bar because of my crappy grades, I can’t keep turning to my sister, Fable, and her pro-football playing husband, Drew, to bail me out. I just can’t seem to find my own way. Weed and sex are irresistible temptations—and it’s messed up that I secretly hand over money to our junkie mom. A tutor is the last thing I want right now—until I get a look at her.
Chelsea is not my type at all. She’s smart and totally shy. I’m pretty sure she’s even a virgin. But when she gives me the once over with those piercing blue eyes, I’m really over. But in a different way. I won’t deny her ass is killer, but it’s her brain and the way she seems to crave love—like no one’s ever given her any—that make me want her more than any girl I’ve ever met. But what would someone as seemingly together as her ever see in a screwed up guy like me?
White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout
One kiss could be the last.
Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she's anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.
Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she's crushed on since forever.
Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she's not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn't an issue, considering Roth has no soul.
But when Layla discovers she's the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

NEW YORK TIMES and USATODAY Bestselling Series

His life has been a constant carousel of tragedy and disappointment, including his love life. Of course, applying the term “love” to Garth’s conquests is a gross misuse of the word. He’s made a vow that the day he meets a woman who could sucker him into falling in love will be the day he runs away.
Garth’s plan has one flaw. What happens when he’s already fallen hard for a girl before the warning signs and red flags go up? What happens when the love he’s avoided his entire life brings him to his knees? What happens when Garth Black lets the dirtiest four letter word he’s ever known into his dark, lonely life?
This cowboy’s about to find out he can control some things, and he can’t control others. Number one on the what he can’t control list?
Love.

Review
I read this book on March 29th 2014.
This book can be described in one word for me: adorable!
Advanced copy provided by the publisher, via NetGalley.
I actually loved reading this! I thought that maybe I might think it was okay, maybe three stars, but I actually throughly enjoyed reading the book! I actually had a hard time putting it down, because I honestly didn't want to, not once. This book had my stomach doing flips and, WOW, was Wesley swoon-worthy. Then that scene with "I Never"? Oh my gosh, it made me want Wesley so bad, why do I always fall for the guys in books?
Kayla liked Talon, Talon liked Raegan, Raegan liked Talon, Wesley liked Raegan. This made me sort of angry. I mean, what's wrong with Kayla? Why do the guys all like Raegan? I think this is because Kayla lacked self-confidence. However, this wasn't one of the characters I hated because of it, I actually like her for it. She tried to put herself out there in ways she knew to keep herself comfortable.
I laughed so much reading this book, especially with kissing scenes (if you'd read it, you know what I'm talking about)!
Overall, this was a sweet, and adorable book. I wouldn't necessarily say it is NA, more on the YA side, and I would have preferred to read more steamy scenes as well.

Review
I read this book on March 25th 2014.
I recieved this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
An emotional and riveting story about teens going through very different things, finding comfort in one another.
Once I started reading this book, I couldn't really put it down. I loved the story, how Kate had a life with real problems. A lot of the young adult books I read, seem like the same story, and the teens in the book really have no problems. Just trying to figure out if the boy next door likes them or not. Well, if you're hoping for a sweet, simple read, this isn't one. This book keeps readers enthralled throughout both Kate's journey and Aidan's journey.
Kate was a strong female lead in the story and I can't say I blame her for not telling Aidan in the beginning of the story. I've known people in my life with type one diabetes, however, I've never seen them go through the process with the needle. Beside that, I know how difficult it can be from conversations with people who suffer from this disease. All I can say, is everyone going through this disease are very strong and I don't think I'd be able to go through this. I don't like needles, and couldn't imagine going through what some of the people go through.
Aidan was in the army and during battle, his arm was blown off. He didn't act like someone who hated the world because of it, and I think this is because he watched one of his friends die during the time his arm was blown off. Again, i could never imagine going through this. Eventually, you start to get used to it, but I don't think a person every really gets over something like this. Aidan was another strong lead and I wanted to cry for some of the stuff he must have been going through.
I was slightly disappointed with the grammar in the book. There where missing periods, quotations, and sometimes the paragraph was not in the way it should be. Also, in some places, there was no spaces between paragraphs when the author started a new subject. The author became inconsistent in some places of the book, and there was many spelling errors.
Overall, this book was very touching and it was enjoyable to read it. This one's not soon to leave you.

EXCERPT
My forehead leans against hers as I gaze into her deep blue eyes that are full of longing.
I want her to believe me, to trust in me, to feel that I need her. I didn’t want her to get hurt
because of me, but I can’t stay away any longer. I need her more than anything. She is my
drug and I’m giving in to my addiction.
I lick and bite my lip in anticipation, waiting for her to let me in. I can’t stop wanting her,
but if she really doesn’t want me the same way I do then I’ll have no choice but to stop. “Tell
me what you want. What you really need. Do you want me to let you go? Do you want me to
stop hunting for you?” I whisper.
I’m pleading in my head for her to say ‘no.’ I look her in the eye, telling her without
words that this is what I desire the most. She takes in a deep breath and opens her mouth.
When she says, “Kiss me. I want you to kiss me,” I’m done for.
I press my lips on top of hers like before, taking it slow and easy this time. It felt like I
was dying of thirst, but now, after knowing she’s okay with it, I’m much calmer. I take her
lips in slow, lavish licks, kissing her with every ounce of my love.
She shivers in my arms as I hold onto her tight, pulling her closer to me. She kisses me
back tenderly, her lips as caring and soft as she is. Her hot mouth is driving me insane. She’s
the only one who can do this to me.
She’s turning to mush in my arms, and I love how it feels, so powerful, so intense. My
instincts take over as I grab her hands and pin them above her head. I alternate my kisses
with nibbles, arousing her so much she moans out loud. My cock responds with enthusiasm,
poking against the fabric of my pants, eager to take her.
Before I know it, my hands are slipping down her body, along her waist, and to her
thighs, my fingers desperate to squeeze that tight ass of hers. Her arms find their way to my
chest, and I love how she feels me up, desperate to get a hold of me. She twines her arms
around my neck, giving me full access to her skin. I kiss my way to her neck, finally able to
press my lips on that one spot I know winds girls up. She starts panting, and then I know I’ve
hit the sweet spot.
I’ve waited so long for this that it takes every fiber of my being not to pick her up and
bang her against the car right now. She’s a virgin, and I don’t want to make her do things
she’s not ready for. She’s never been fucked, and that’s all I ever do. I don’t make love. I
bang girls, take them in whatever position I like. I’m not so sure she’s even been kissed like
this before.
But shit, this is fucking hot.
I pull back for a second, breathing out my horniness. “God, that dress,” I groan. “Why’d
you have to put that on?”
“Couldn’t come to the party in a pair of sweatpants,” she mutters.
She giggles when I leave little pecks on her collarbone, peeking down into her dress.
I can already see the swell of her tits, primed and ready for me to cup and lick the crown.
“Hmmm …” I rest my head on her shoulder, nibbling on her earlobe. “You look so damn hot
… You don’t wanna know what goes on in my mind when you’re all dressed up like this. It’s
too dirty to handle,” I whisper.
I can feel the goose bumps forming on her body as my hands slide down her arm.
“Although I wouldn’t mind the sweatpants either. Easier to take off.”
Although nothing beats her sex appeal in this black dress. Damn.
I suckle on her earlobe and move back to her lips again, leaving hickeys all over her
neck. My hand shifts to her ass and I squeeze tight, feeling her perky flesh in my fingers. She
gasps. Hot fucking Jesus. Now I really want to come inside her.
Our lips are locked, our eyes closed, and my mind is whirring with thoughts about
stripping her bare. When she grasps my hair and tugs me closer my cock thumps in my pants.
My fingers slide down her leg and move up her dress, slowly getting closer to her most
sensitive spot. God, I wonder if she’s ever been touched there. I’d like to be the first.
I’m fucking her with my mouth, my tongue going crazy as I press my cock against
her thigh. Sweet Jesus. We’re not even naked yet and I already feel like I want to make her
scream my name.

Synopsis: Sweet and sexy, Blissful will melt your heart!
Unlucky is my middle name. My life as a singer-songwriter in a band I started with my best friend isn't getting anywhere. I'm curvy and being thin is apparently important for a musical career. When my high school sweetheart and I get married, I find him kissing my best friend. Of course I didn't put up with it.
Broken and depressed, I run away from everything I know, but even my car breaks down. Like I said ... luck is not on my side.
Until I meet Jack ...
Maintaining a ranch isn't easy. I've got more work than time. Spare time is a luxury I can't afford and won't give into. When I spend one moment alone with my thoughts, I'm done for. Alcohol becomes my friend, because I can't bear to feel the misery inside my heart.
I hate who I've become. Sorrow eats me up, but I won't let anyone see. I need to keep on living, keep on fighting, and do everything on my own. For her, my little angel. She's all I have left.
Until I meet Amy ...
Lost in misery, love is our salvation

Review
I read this book on March 19th 2014.
A cute, short, simple read about broken hearts and falling in love.
Blissful was heartbreaking to read. The main characters of the book, Amy and Jack, both had serious problems of there own. Amy, even if she wasn't very fat, always thought of herself as fat. This is because her ex-boyfriend/fiance always said to her about how fat she was. Why was she with him again? I don't know. On Amy's wedding day, she comes into a room and sees her fiance kissing another girl. Oh and this girl was her best friend. Imagine how horrible that'd be? I mean, the story shows her misfortune and it makes me sad for her very much.
Jack has problems to, but we don't see the entire story. I know this book is three parts, but the book was uncompleted it feels. However, aside from the unfinished feeling of Jack's part, I am excited to read the next one. I want to see where this is going to go and what's going to happen.
I recommend this book to readers who like sweet, sexy romance, but not to heavy.
