INTERVIEW
1. What's your favourite book? It’s a series really. The James Bond novels by Ian Fleming. I love the way he writes this character. Another at the top of the list is Fire from Heaven by Mary Renault.

2. Why did you decide to write Cover to Covers about an author meeting a guy like the ones in her books? I wanted to write a story about second-chances and how much harder they are after the trials of life have worn us down. You are not the same person you were in your twenties when you are in your forties, and relationships need to accommodate for those changes. I think that makes the story more poignant and the hurdles the characters must cross more memorable.

3. When did you know you wanted to be a writer? I think I always knew. Ever since the age of eight, writing was something that carried me away. I never stopped writing, but did not get serious about it until later in life.

4. As a child did you like reading, or did you start liking in in teen years? I always read as a child. I was an only child so reading was an adventure to me, and kept me company when I was alone.

5. Outside if writing and reading, what do you like to do to pass the time? I am a permitted/certified wildlife rehabber with the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, so all my spare time is devoted to helping orphaned and injured wildlife. Outside of writing, animals are my passion.
