Synopsis: Getting a boy to fall head-over-heels in love with you isn’t easy. Especially when he’s been in love with your cousin for as long as you can remember.Lana has lived her life in her cousin’s shadow. Ashton always made perfect grades, had tons of friends, and looks model-perfect. And she’s always had Sawyer Vincent—the only boy Lana’s ever wanted—wrapped around her finger. But now things are different. Lana has a chance to make Sawyer see her, and she’s taking it. If only he’d get over Ashton—because Lana is sick of second-best.
Sawyer’s heart is broken. He’s lost his best girl to his best friend. And then Lana comes to town. Ashton’s cousin has always been sweet and soft-spoken, but now she’s drop-dead gorgeous as well. Sawyer doesn’t know if Lana can heal his broken heart, but spending time with her might at least make Ashton jealous. What starts as a carefree fling becomes a lusty game of seduction. Sawyer and Lana may have different motives, but their scintillating hookups are the same kind of steamy…

I read this book on April 17th, 2013

Lets start off by introducing the new characters.
Sawyer: very needy, polite, and kind.
Lana: nerdy, weird, and unattractive.
Well, all that changes in this book. Lana has transformed herself for a certain Vincent boy that she has had a crush on since she was about 10. Sawyer (after breaking up with Ashton) has become rude and arrogant. In the beginning he starts acting out and being very physical with Lana to make Ashton jealous. Then, after many times that Sawyer has messed up with Lana, she still forgives him! Like, what?! I would never forgive a guy if he was that rude to me. I'm not that dependable on guys, unlike Lana, who hangs on every word Sawyer says. Anyway, as the story continues on, things begin to get a little out of hand and... I don't know, I guess I kept reading because I was hoping for an outburst of something interesting but... not really.
Overall, I felt this book was good but I expected more. This book is more of a New Adult book rather than young adult. Either way, the book was still unsupported. My favourite part was the epilogue because it had Beau and Ashton.I recommend this book to anyone who liked the Vincent Boys, but don't get to excited.
