Hey ya'll! Yesterday was the Read-a-thon challenge for your favourite book to movie release so I am going to be doing that today because yesterday I was busy! I finish yet another book and am so proud of myself. I'll also be talking about what books I have left and stuff.
Honestly I don't read a lot of books that go into movies but one of the ones I did and enjoyed was:
Warm Bodies by Issac Marion
Now a major motion picture from Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the blockbuster Twilight series and the upcoming movie Divergent, starring Academy Award Nominee John Malkovich, Nicholas Hoult, and Teresa Palmer and directed by Jonathan Levine.
R is having a no-life crisis—he is a zombie. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he is a little different from his fellow Dead. He may occasionally eat people, but he’d rather be riding abandoned airport escalators, listening to Sinatra in the cozy 747 he calls home, or collecting souvenirs from the ruins of civilization.
And then he meets a girl.
First as his captive, then his reluctant guest, Julie is a blast of living color in R’s gray landscape, and something inside him begins to bloom. He doesn't want to eat this girl—although she looks delicious—he wants to protect her. But their unlikely bond will cause ripples they can’t imagine, and their hopeless world won’t change without a fight.
I don't know if you guys know, but this book was chosen for film:
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is.
That's basically it. I know, kind of sad. But I like books that aren't movies because movies generally destroy books.

I never read Warm Bodies but I definitely though the film was cute, it didn't hurt that the actor playing the zombie is a total hottie!
ReplyDeleteSo true! All my friends made fun of me for thinking he was hot!
